Turning moments into eternal memories

Photography

I’m Jacob Squires, a Folsom, California based photographer and designer with over 10 years of experience turning ideas into striking visuals. My work spans three connected disciplines: capturing dynamic sports and wildlife photography, crafting clean and intuitive websites, and designing graphics that give brands a distinct visual voice. Whether I’m freezing a game winning moment, building a seamless Elementor powered site, or designing a logo or marketing piece, my goal is the same, create work that’s thoughtful, polished, and memorable.

Graphic Design

From Graphic Prints to Social Media Posts

I bring versatility to every project through my proficiency across a range of industry standard tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Canva for quick and collaborative design work, Affinity for precise and cost-effective creative production, and DaVinci Resolve for video editing and motion content. This diverse toolkit allows me to adapt seamlessly to different project needs, delivering polished, on-brand visuals whether the goal is a static social post, a full marketing campaign, or dynamic video content.

An editorial platform for a small research team publishing long-form field work. The brief was legibility first: a reading experience that holds up at 400 words or 4,000, on any screen.

We designed a modular article system — pull quotes, figure captions, footnotes and image grids — and paired it with an index that makes older issues easy to find.

Atlas runs seasonal retreats in four countries and needed one place to explain them. We mapped the booking journey, cut the number of steps in half and rebuilt the pages around a single decision: which space, which week.

The design system ships as a documented component library, so the team can add a new location without a designer in the room.
